Regular Cleaning
Keep your R15 bike in pristine condition with regular cleaning. Remove dirt, mud, and moisture from all components including the chain, frame, and wheels to prevent deterioration and maintain optimal performance.
Recommended products: Use mild soap and water or motorcycle-specific cleaning solutions. Always rinse thoroughly to prevent corrosion.
Frequency: Weekly or after riding in adverse conditions
Proper Lubrication
Ensure smooth operation with appropriate lubrication of critical components. Regular chain lubrication reduces friction, extends component life, and enhances overall performance.
Key areas: Engine, chain, gears, and moving parts
Frequency: Chain - every 500km; Engine oil - as per service schedule
Tire Care
Maintain proper tire pressure according to manufacturer specifications to improve handling, optimize fuel efficiency, and extend tire life. Regularly inspect for damage, uneven wear patterns, or embedded debris.
Recommended pressure: Front - 29 psi; Rear - 33 psi (check manual for your specific model)
Frequency: Pressure check - weekly; Visual inspection - before each ride
Regular Servicing
Follow the manufacturer's service schedule for timely maintenance including oil and filter changes, valve clearance adjustments, spark plug replacement, and brake system inspections.
First service: 1,000 km
Regular service: Every 3,000 km or 3 months
Professional check: Recommended every 6,000 km
Proper Storage
Store your R15 in a dry area protected from direct sunlight and rain to prevent deterioration of external components and paint. Use a motorcycle-specific cover for additional protection against dust and minor damage.
Before long-term storage: Fill the fuel tank, disconnect battery, and elevate tires
Additional tip: Start the engine occasionally during long storage periods
